French 9 - Day 1
On Thursday you will be starting your skits. Bring devices, textbooks, workbooks, and any materials necessary to help you prepare. You will be preparing 2 scenes for this skit, with one person in your group being a waiter or waitress and the rest being a group of customers that are eating together.
Scene 1: Group arrives at the St. Hubert restaurant and sits down to order from the menu (pages 8-10 of the textbook). They discuss the menu among themselves then place their order when the waiter/waitress arrives. The waiter/waitress records the order on page 5 of the workbook.
Scene 2: Group gets their food. They discuss the quality of the food, the service, atmosphere, prices, etc. The waiter/waitress arrives with the bill but the group discovers an error. They point the error out to the waiter/waitress and get it sorted out.
Written script (probably about 1 1/2 - 2 pages double-spaced): /30 points

- Fluency (lines memorized and well rehearsed) /10 points
- Voice/Intonation (your voice reflects emotion and is not monotone) /10 points
- Props, costumes, effetcs (anything you include that makes your skit realistic, interesting, and creative) /10 points
***Everyone in your group must have a speaking role in the skit.
